Amazon.com Product Description The original kick scooter, the Razor A is a handy little ride for kids and teens alike. Though it'll never replace the internal combustion engine, the scooter will get your child from point A to point B much quicker than on foot alone, and requires just a few scoots of one's shoes in the process. Plus, it's a blast to use, as your progeny will likely attest. The Razor A is built of aircraft-grade aluminum, a sturdy material that holds up to use and abuse through the years. Its T-tube and deck, meanwhile, fold up into a compact footprint, so riders can fit the scooter inside a bag or carry it at their side when riding isn't appropriate (it weighs around 6 pounds). And thanks to the 98mm inline-style urethane wheels, ABEC 5 bearings, and patented rear fender brake, riders will always feel smooth and in control when kicking along the sidewalk. Recommended for ages 5 and older, the Razor A will support a rider up to 143 pounds. It's also backed by a six-month warranty. For the next step up, try the Razor A2 Scooter.
When you're done riding, the Razor A folds down to a nicely compact size. | Specifications: - Scooter material: Aircraft-grade aluminum tube and deck

Razor Scooter July 16, 2010 L. Norris (South Carolina) I bought one for my grandson when he was 6 yrs old. He had already been using his friend's razor scooters since he was 3. This one was for my 5 yr old granddaughter who had been riding her brother's scooter. Of course, hers had to be pink. These are great scooters, compact for storage, and too cute. Of course, shin guards and helmets provide extra security. I highly recommend, with parental guidance, for children who are coordinated enough.
Great for college June 28, 2010 PJ (Utah, USA) I bought this for my daughter who is going to college in the fall. It's small enough to tote around to classes, and works well enough to get her there from the dorms. If the handle were just a bit longer, it would be perfect. But it's pretty close.
Ok June 21, 2010 Antoine Stephens (Portland, Oregon) Easy to set up - this is the second one I am buying. No explanation on the site as to why certain colors cost more, so I simply chose the cheaper colors (blue and green) though they were for girls, and they wanted pink/ red. Didn't read instructions for first one, so some screws fell off, but with the second one, I did, and all is well - it works great. It's adjustable so can be used for kids of varying heights. But for taller than avg kids, might not work (my older is 7 yrs, and nearly 5 feet - so it's kinda short for her)
Good product, overall
perfect for the age! June 15, 2010 Amber D. Heyman I got this for my 4 1/2 yr old son. It was easy for HIM to open and once we showed him how to unfold it he had no problems doing it himself. It folds nicely and the handles even fold in, it's stayed folded when not in use (which isn't very often). He LOVES this scooter! I wouldn't recommend it for a very large person, but my 7 1/2 yr old daughter has the same one (in pink of course) and it works very well for her. You won't find mommy and daddy out riding it (just out back where we can't be seen!), but again for the age we got them for they are perfect. Easy to operate, and seem sturdy enough for a 10 yr old. The foot area is smaller which makes it even better for younger kids. The price is great too! My kids had to buy their own with their allowance :)
GREAT GIFT IDEA June 7, 2010 B. Mgreal (Monterey,CA) This scooter was purchased for my 3 yr. old grandson's birthday. He was so excited to receive it. The look on his face was priceless. He quickly learned how to maneuver the scooter and is gaining skill on it everyday. I think it was a great choice to further develop coordination. Not every 3 yr. old is ready for a scooter, but he has proven himself on it and will soon be keeping right up with his older brother.
Great seller experience. Wonderful communication from Amazon. Fast Shipping at a reasonable price.
